Temple, Texas population continues an upward trend buoyed by a strong job market and a stable local economy. 2000 to 2007 census figure comparison for the Temple-Killeen MSA shows a population growth of over 6%. The Temple-Killeen MSA is also ranked 11th nationally in overall population and 12th in growth. Among the Secondary MSA Markets, which excludes Houston, Dallas, Ft. Worth-Arlington, San Antonio, and Austin-San Marcos, the Temple-Killeen MSA is ranked 6th in population and 3rd in growth among the top 6 MSAs. |
