Municipal Planning and Zoning Matters The Temple Planning and Zoning Commission is a nine-member body appointed by the City Council and is concerned with all land use matters and associated application of development standards. Development projects can be processed through Temple's "fast-track" procedures. The City of Temple utilizes the Southern Building Code guidelines.
