Cynthia Jackson Cynthia Jackson, executive assistant to the president, provides support to the Temple Economic Development Corporation (TEDC) president and board of directors, and works alongside the marketing director and business development director to organize trade shows, conferences, meetings and workshops. In addition, she assists with project proposals and site visits.
With a legal background and experience in real estate and banking, Jackson also serves as records management officer and coordinates real estate transactions for TEDC projects. Prior to joining the TEDC in August 2006, Jackson was office manager for Stribling Company and executive assistant for Eden Financial Corporation in San Angelo, Texas. Jackson's community and civic involvement includes the American Business Women's Association and Altrusa International, Inc. of Temple, for which she previously served as menu chair for the 2007 Taste of the Holidays and invitations co-chair for the 2008 Caring Ball. She is currently decorations chair for the 2008 Taste of the Holidays. Jackson is also a member of the East Bell County Texas A&M University Mothers' Club, where she served as historian and projects chairman for 2007-2008, and will serve as projects chairman for 2008-2009. Jackson has a B.S. in home economics from Texas Tech University with a major in clothing & textiles merchandising and a minor in marketing. She also has a real estate license through the Texas Real Estate Commission. |
